Join Julie's Wednesday series, last class February 10th
Marnie's Sunday class will post a start date soon.
We open the room about 3 minutes before scheduled start time. Classes are 30 to 40 minutes in length. Please mute your microphone before class begins. All times are EST.
Thank you for practicing with us.
Marnie is offering an opportunity to release stress, unwind your muscles and soothe your adrenals. Using breath work, meditation and guided relaxation this class will calm your central nervous system and restore balance. Gentle on sore knees and backs, these stretches and postures are intended to release tight hips and shoulders and improve mobility. It would be helpful to have one or two blankets, a small cushion and an eye pillow or a t-shirt to cover the eyes available during class.
Mindful Movement Yoga is a combination of movement, relaxation techniques and mindfulness practices. These movements and techniques are designed to decrease stress and pain while increasing body and mind awareness. Slow, gentle movements re-educate the nervous system and allow the release of tight, restricted muscles. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi, everyone benefits from slowing down, turning inward and noticing what we are holding onto and what can be released when the body and mind are ready.
